Do you remember when we first met, I sure do.

I am up very early today.

I don't have to be up for another hour or so, but I got up today to make breakfast for lkj before he jetted off to his 8 to 5.

He does not get this kind of special treatment every day.

No siree.

Today is, in fact, our anniversary :)

It's our throwback anniversary. Today marks exactly six years since the very day that he asked me to be his girlfriend [it was too cute], when we were sweet little innocent teenagers who only had to worry about what to wear to the dance or doing homework during lunch.

He was shy, and I talked too much. It was perfect.

We were adorable high school sweethearts.

Since then we have had to overcome much more difficult things, including 4 years of long-distancing, which is a feat in and of itself.

In the past year and half especially, lkj and I have cultivated an even deeper relationship and friendship. 

Six years is no joke.

We are legit made for each other.

He is my favorite.

To celebrate, he is taking me out Friday to dinner and to see Wicked at the Orpheum!

I am so excited.
