why i blog

My name is Amanda Lewis.
I'm a 23 year old originally from Memphis, TN.
I graduated from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville [about a year ago-sigh].
I majored in Journalism and Spanish.
But this isn't my resume...
This is for you to glean an understanding of why I started a blog and
why on earth you should read it.

I'm a passionate writer, and I feel that I speak best through my own written word
Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely a talker.
But when I have the opportunity to write down my thoughts, coherently, I really enjoy it.
It makes me feel organized.
It helps me hone my skills.
And in some cases, I think I have some interesting insights to share with everyone

I have a simple, yet ever so complicated theme for this modern soap box of mine:
I'm in the throes of my twenties, experiencing what can only be referred to as a quarter-life crisis. I can hardly make sense of what's happening, or why it is so, or what is coming next, and so I figure I'll talk my way through it.

As for the title, that's a two-fer.
Because I haven't the faintest idea of what the fates have in store, my observations about life in general are constantly morphing into new ideas, so that speaks for itself.
Secondly, I am extremely obsessive compulsive.
I'm sure you never would have guessed.

So, there's my spiel.

Perhaps I'll look back on this blog one day, when I'm extremely well-read and set on a "suitable" life-course, and smile on my naivete.

Then again, maybe not
Thanks for reading!
