no break for you

It is an undeniable facet of graduating from college and becoming an "adult" that one no longer gets to partake in the wonderful capriciousness that once was Spring Break.

That one, extremely desirable week in the middle of Spring semester [which, let's face it, is just plain harder than the fall semester. It's either raining and you want to stay in bed, or it's too pretty to be indoors, and  summer is looming lazily over everyone's head] where you have zero worries besides which swimsuit to pack.
Give or take a few details, but you get the gist.

Many will argue that having a steady paying job should negate one's right to complain about not having said week off, but I am willing to bet that if you asked any 22/23/24 year old if they could revisit this illustrious week, there would be no hesitation in agreement.

Seeing as how I am currently in a loophole of sorts in the employment world, I have found a way to weasel a mini break out of the deal.
This will include, ironically enough, jetting off this weekend back to school, to visit some of my long lost bff's.
There will also be miscellaneous packing/moving and hopefully [although highly unlikely]  generous amounts of sleeping involved.
